Well i got it confirmed. The song HAS to be from 1995 era Ae, as it's the lushest and most melodic song I've heard from them in years. I guess the Bola-ish sounds I was hearing were probably stolen by Bola since he is/was good friends with the Ae boys. Make sense; nevertheless I'm still in disbelief, as the song is that melodic. After listening to releases like EP7, Confield, Peel 2, and Draft 7:30, I'm not used to hearing new old school melodic/minimal Ae. For those who are fans of Tri-Rep/Amber era Autechre, you might want to check this out VERY quickly. -A |
