why do you have to use it with acid? i use buzz almost
exclusively.. (the only outside programs i use are audio
editors/synthesis programs)

one of these days i'll write a full buzz tutorial.. cant be
fucked right now..

ehhhh, just little tiny things about the way arrangements
are made
i don't believe for one second their wave chopper or
whatever can do breaks better than i can, that's mah
specialty in Acid, been workin on 'em for a year and still
goin

buzz is a good program, only if you download the full
install version with all the extra's and have time to fiddle
around with it, you'll find that it has every feature that
any other program has got, it just takes a bit longer to
figure out what is what.

computer without windows

jeskola buzz

buzz is really good - quite quick and very flexible. you
just need to get used to it, like with every other program.
but tracker experience helps a lot.
and everyone should realize that this is acually legally
FREE software too.

ask me if you wan't to know something, and i'll see if i can
help you.

1 tip though: be sure to save your projects often, and make
backups. some machines tend to crash the program and even
corrupt files.

MDX nkows his shit - trust him.

and Fat Kaimo makes cool tracks.

Trust these people!!!

Don't trust od though! He's a shifty character!
He uses that *other* program!!!
haha

*other program*, right......

ok, now how about "modplug"?

i've never used modplug
if you wanna do mod-like tracking use a real tracker like
Impulse Tracker

until you get the hang of buzz i figure you should stick
with the lite pack

href="http://web.hibo.no/~mva/searchmachine.php?x=ja&author
if you really get into it you can target=_blank>develop your own machines like i did

i'd say forget ACID - I only use it to layer acapella
rap/pop over metal music
take what you know about rhythm and experiment with buzz
until you can do it and never stop experimenting

Experiment!

How'd i fuck this link up?

od, haha thanks...

etched, modplug is basically just a windows revamp of the
classic dos trackers. i still like the 1998 impulse tracker
a lot more: you can do all the things so much easier &
faster - you just have to use the keyboard and the dos
interface...

modplug does support vst effects, but then again so does
buzz, and i think buzz does all the things modplug plus a
lot more.

but afterall, a lot is up to personal preference, and not
everybody wants all options etc...

aight, cool, thanks....
being the cheap-ass i am, any other free progs you can think
of
i just wanna get away from only using ONE program to do
EVERYTHING

I use buzz a softsynth rack...

I create the sound, export it in .wav, put it into an editor
(Wavelab or whatever), Put it into Floops (or reason),
create the patterns, export it, put everything together on
acid...
