you still need root privileges to install, that's why i

soulseek x is the biggest piece of shit ever.

its horrible. it finds hardly any search returns, it
crashes often, you can't browse user files, it tends to NOT
download files properly, etc.

i usually run soulseek for windows in an xp virtual pc.

pyslsk theoretically should work, seeing as its just python
with a bunch of other libraries, never tried getting it
working with os x though.

soulseekx is definately horrible, but i could never get
