sorry to bother you, but i didn't want to hijack the Rumours thread >_< you're close to the same age as my brother, know any Pats? or Patricks, maybe? he really seems to know everyone, thought it might be cool if he knew you :D also, do you know many girls into squarepusher? reason i ask, is i was in a Tim Hortons a while back, right after buying Go Plastic on vinyl, and i had it out on the table, when some random girl comes up and asked where i bought it and told me she loves squarepusher's stuff. so yah. |

i do know a pat... but i doubt he's your brother... (cause i'm pretty sure i know who his younger brother is) .... but as for girls liking squarepusher... well i know a few must... because i hear more from other people about jenkinson than most other artists of his ilk. do you go to listen records at all? |

listen records? where's that? i shop at Blackbyrd Myoozik on whyte ave mostly. they've got squarepusher, tons of aphex, amon tobin, and every now and then some other good stuff. reasonable elecronic cd selection too |

well... blackbyrd is pretty decent... but as far as new vinyl (and new stuff in general) goes... it is not nearly as good... listen has a much better electronic section (which gets new additions every week... unlike blackbyrd, which can be stagnant for long periods of time)...they actually got in the draft 7:30 vinyl on the thursday before its actual release... i do interviews with the owner every week which go on cjsr on saturdays... you should check listen out for sure... |

actually the shows o nright now.. but i think the listen-related stuff aired earlier on (show is from 2-4... it's just general eclectic stuff... have you heard Altered States? that's a cool electronic/avant-garde show that runs on friday nights) listen is on 124th street and 107th ave... there's a couple other interesting music store on 124th too: Sound Connection and DV8 |

nah i don't listen to the radio too much. i'll remember to check it out next week tho. i have heard of DV8 but only my brother's ever been. i'll check that too, when i get a chance |

yeah.. actually i'm not a radio person myself (although i'll listen to my show when i get it... soon hopefully)... and i haven't really listened to altered states for more than a few minutes... but i did meet one of the djs and he was pretty cool... |
