i havent seen holocaust, but someone here on the mb spoke
very warm about it. it's supposed to be really gross as
well...cannibal ferox was just plain stupid and boring.

Yeah, Ferox is a weak imitation of Holocaust (unless it came
out first in which case Holocaust is a fine updating of
Ferox :D) of course, these things all depend on which
versions a person see - a censored version can really ruin a
film!

Holocaust came after Ferox, but Lenzi who made Ferox started
the whole Cannibal genre . Cannibal Holocaust is a great
movie though, and I think you should watch it if you can
stand the sometimes strong scenes.
The movie also has a kick-ass soundtrack by Riz Ortolani.

Most of the bad horrormovies I've seen have been american
productions, that simply aren't scary and just plain
stupid...
They usually just pass me unremembered,
but one title that comes to mind is the terrible "Uncle
Sam". ugh.

Evil dead is one of my fav horror movies!
Ah. it's really good... and scary for that matter. and funny
=)
"Uncle Sam" is neither scary or funny, it's just crap.
There are a lot of bad zombiemovies to, but usally you can
have a laugh at them.
"Uncle Sam" just sucks.
Also "Children of the living dead" sucks...

I just recently saw Ringu (japanese version), not that
b-horror though, i guess the term b-horror is rather for
american movies. However Ringu did not scare that shit out
of me that much as the hollywood remake (The Ring).

maybe because you watched the american first???
I think ringu is scarier, and yet I watched the american
first to.
but yeah, the worst horror-movies are american
wannabe-movies (that like I wrote earlier is just crap, not
scary, not funny, not anything).

yeah I admit, I saw the american version first. They just
used better and more tense effects, though I respect that
Ringu had the original idea.

Too bad I am a hollywood preferant (heh funny word).

Yeah I liked the photo + Naomi Watts in
the american.
Yet the original story is much better...
way more logical, and scarier.

dead alive is know as braindead here.

the Bair Wench Project
the most horrible parody ever
featuring dumb bimbos with fake tits in their early 30's who
can not remember their lines for 90 minutes - you get two
quick moments of softporn
best quote form the movie - "My twins are sweaty."
