have you got some more information about it ?

I download it from slsk and I notice that some tracks are
the same tracks as autechre in live !?!?

I thought ae and gescom were different music style !

there is a review on this board somewhere, and it is stated
there that some of the tracks are the same as on Ae's
Coachella '99 bootleg.

i got it on vinyl, 3 of the tracks are from coachella live,
but studio versions of course... i love gescom, but this
doesnt top "keynell" ep... "slow acid" aint really that
good... but the track "iss:sa" is unreal, love it.

offline korben dallas from nz on 2003-06-01 22:14 [#00723545]

ae and vinyl is a mean combo. i've got draft and an lp5
promo on 12" .. wonderful stuff.

the track iss:sa is incredible ...

confield vinyl, that artwork is great

oh man, didn't realise they had that much ae in sydney? .. i
remember you saying that you got heaps of vinyl a while
back. do you use vinyl for your gigs? have you got ep7.1 and
ep7.2?

offline teapot from Paddington (Australia) on 2003-06-01 22:34 [#00723551]

yeah i got 7.1 & 7.2 from this run down hip hop shop up a
dodgy flight of stairs, and they were only $5 each.... i
said to the dude why the were so cheap and he said he hated
them hah

best find tho was the basscad,ep, the rare one with
12/4cadetmix and basscadoublemix... i love the basscad ep
and i always wished i'd had that 12/4 mix on vinyl coz its
bloody awesome

i really like this release, tr2a is messed up... kinda
reminds me of the symbols track on aphex's windowlicker...
really convoluted... sounds liked you're being knocked over
by huge waves of sound... these boys are working on fleshing
out yet another techno genre... ya gotsta love em...

teapot:

don't think i've heard the 12/4 remix ... sheesh man .. that
sounds like quite a haul.

7.1 and 7.2 for 10 bucks .. what a steal.

what sort of mixer do you use. i'm sort of
windowshopping/dreaming of a mixer with some
buttons/switches (some knobs) on there (to trigger midi
stuff), combined with ableton??

just got an ancient vestax mixer, and a single ancient
roland, for hom playing... where i have my residency they
have 2 x brand new rolands, a stanton mixer.... and cd
decks... ive neglected to note the make...

the first 3 tracks (iss sa, tangle ill, tr2a) are the same
songs from the coachella 99 performance exactly. minus some
FX.

though im sorta glad, since tangle ill was one of my
favorite tracks on that coachella set. so its all good.

slow acid is new to me, as is megamix. great ep.
