If there were to be a full length Album from Aphex Twin, which previous album would you like it to sound like? Please.. one answer. I think that Id most like it to sound like the "Classics" album he did. That would be great. |

That's a tough one, i personally wouldnt mind a richard d james album 2 sorta thing, with more emphasis on ambient and melody maybe..does that make sense |

I think another SAW1 type cd is exactly what he needs. The drill and bass stuff of RDJ album was great, but i think it would be very cool for more of an emphasis on melodies and less 'noisy' percussion. Not that noisy percussion is a bad thing......... |

Well, I agree with both of you, although I already stated what I wanted. I just think it would be great to hear some more hard old shit from him. Nice abbrasive beats. Although Im down the the ambient rythm shit. |

I think an anthology album would be good, with each song representing the feel of each release that he has made, eg: song # 1: caustic window"ish" song 2: something like surfing on sinewaves 3: somthing like sawI 4: sawII"ish" other albums onwards although I think that more ambient song would kick |

You're right: every album of AFX is something new and original, so why couldn't a new album sound totally different then every other album? AFX is creative and that's what I like the most of him! |

i am pretty sure i heard that RDJ had a 4 cd album ready for release, but he just did not think people were ready for it. It was in NME, i will try and find the article again, and then i will tell you for ceartain. It MAY have been a dream. |

In the NME article he did when Windowlicker came out, he claimed to have several albums' worth of material on DAT, and said he might just give it away to fans. My friend and I sent him a request with a cheque for £10, c/o Warp, but there was no reply. So the new album could be a compilation of older stuff (he claimed to have written Windowlicker 3 or 4 years before it was released), but even so, I'm expecting it to be completely different from every other album ever recorded. |

i don't reckon it will b liek anything. Cause all his albums so far have been so diffrent. I know it is unlikely, but i HOPE that his new album is along the lines of complex mathematical equation, in teh way hat it is just really really really complictaed, god i love thattrack. |
