what 5 LPs in this world could you not live without?
and why?

im really curious as to what you will all say... as for
myself... and if i can relate to your reasons for liking
something so much i'll most likely go and check it out :)

Marvin Gaye - Here, My Dear : would have either been this or
"Midnight Love" but marvin oozes class... after Marvin and
his wife divorced, she took him to court... and for some
reason the settlement was the profits of Marvin's next
album... the story goes that marvin was going to do a rush
job so as not to just 'give away' his best work... but a
year and a half later he'd written this masterpice... full
of bitterness and resentment and sadness.

David Bowie - Low : not much to say here other than another
masterpiece... written on the back of his suicide attempt in
berlin... has all the powerful instrumentals and the
amazingly good "Subterraneans" which to me carries a similar
mood and intensity only matched by Autechres Vletrmx!

My Bloody Valentine - Loveless / Nine Inch Nails - The
Fragile : sentimental reasons... was going through a very
strange time in my life and these albums became the
soundtrack.

Autechre - Confield : i dont think i need to say too much
about this :) my favorite piece of artwork so far.
