What was your most sincere act of love? Whats the most
compassionate and/or kind act you have ever done?

For some reason its much harder for me to recall any
specific situation concerning an act love and kindness I
did.

im just re-defining what those words means to me. Of couse I
can account for most of those mundane kind acts but i cant
isolate one tottally selfless act i have commited. Perhaps
there is no such thing, and that everything we do is to
fullfill our own gratification, But then i think of the
boddhistava, and i reconsider that thought. I suppose there
is another state of mind alien to me that would inspire a
totally selfless act.

People give charity to alleviate a feeling of pity.

or

People show affection so that they hope they will recive
some in return.

Is there some subconscious thought that makes us love or be
kind.

The only true loving selfless act would have to be commited
quicky and automatically without consideration, just as a
reaction. Sure there might be instances where a person has
done this, but to a smaller degree than what elludes me.
There are limitations to those smaller acts. Giving a life
would be one of the more sincere acts. Am i making any
sense?
