Autechre in One Hour Photo?

Recently, Luke and I watched the Mark Romanek movie, One
Hour Photo, starring Robin Williams. Later, I was reading
threads at the imdb about the mvoie, and one person said
that the song during the opening credits is by Autechre.

We didnt recognize it, and none of the people who replied
recognized it either.

Does anyone know if this is true?

Yeah! Overand from Tri Repetae. It made my head explode, it
was bizarre to hear Autechre in a freakin' Hollywood movie.

It also ruined the track for me, since now I always think of
Robin Williams when I hear it.

Hmm, Luke checked allmusic.com to find the soundtrack, and
says that its all original composition--no Autechre. He
didnt recognize it in the movie either.

Maybe the Autechre wasnt on the soundtrack? *confused*

Actually, I think Titsworth mentioned something about there
being an early soundtrack, pre-release, that was changed
when it was released... but I still think Autechre was in
the finished product, the track during the weird opening
scene.

I only saw the early version with the old soundtrack, and it
has Overand... someone here must have seen this in theatres.
Come on.

I'll go on record as saying that I definitely did not
recognize anything that sounded like Autechre. :)

Looking at some old topics, I don't think they WERE in the
movie... just the screener. Hmm. Tits is online, he knows.

Phew! :)
The aliens in Signs sound like Autechre when they talk :)
Just a bonus fact!

Screener, early unfinished version, kind of like this new
unmastered Radiohead album we've all heard. Different
soundtrack, with music from Requiem for a Dream and American
Beauty in it... it was actually pretty strange watching One
Hour Photo and hearing the American Beauty theme at certain
parts.

But I'm not certain about Autechre being in the finished
version, so I'm just going to shut my mouth before I get
even more confused.

I also watched the screeningversion which had Autechre right
at the opening sequence when robin w talks about photograph
philosophy. A week ago I watched the rntal version with my
girl and I didn't hear it. When I checked the d/l screening
version I declared myself not crazy for the moment.

Funny this pops up on the messageboard exactly a week later.
;-)

but then again nothing funny about it at all.

Lust incarnate you're not crazy (yet)
