heres one for all you peeps using fruityloops with
hardware.

i just got my hands on the new flstudio, and theres a new
generator called 'dashboard'. this thing is cool. im using
it instead of the old midi out. you can completely customise
the whole thing. ive mapped my entire 'roland alpha juno'
into the thing, and am now working on mapping out my a
station.

this enables every perametre of my hardware to be controlled
from within fruityloops.

this has been especially handing with the juno, as the juno
is one of those ols school synths with very little in the
way of knobs. but now, thanx to the dashboard, i can use the
knobs on my midi controller to make changes in the
perametres of my juno. real time.

here is a pic of my custom built roland alpha juno
dashboard.

Sounds cool, but can't you just plug your midi controller
into the juno? :/

yeah, but this way, i can have fruity automate everything.
once i get them all mapped i'll have 4 synths, and a DSP fx
unit. all hardware all being automated through fruity
dashboard.

Of course- you can record your twiddles and play them back
in real time, right? Sorry, that slipped my mind.

I imagine you can also set an LFO to control a parameter as
a way of getting extra oscillators too?

Sweet, that's a good application for it that I'd not thought
of. All those softsynths with weird interfaces when you just
want reaktor style dials for ease of use!

yeah...my juno is 2 years older than me. 1973.

its allways been a pain to program, but this thing has got
it sorted.
