Just wondering about eBay. A safe and clean way to buy
records? Or...?

Chrispy from UK on 2001-10-09 17:02 [#00039754]

not bad, not bad.... I use it mostly for NES and SNES games
myself.

Horace Grant on 2001-10-09 17:12 [#00039757]

Sometimes people can fuck you up and take your money, or
trick somehow.

Chrispy from UK on 2001-10-09 17:15 [#00039759]

thats why you should take heed of the numbers in brackets
(3289)

thats how many transaction that person has done with a
positive feedback. If you read the instructions... it tells
you. Im Chri5py (11) at the mo... not too big, dont trust me
if I'm selling. Besides... its a legal binding contract if
you win a bid.

I've never had any problems with any products and I've
bought many snes games and a few cd's. (actually I've had a
problem with the cd's because I accidentally purchased
records instead... my fault probably)

(but clean the used snes games with a q-tip before using,
they're usually dirty)

Clobe Smith from over here on 2001-10-09 17:53 [#00039771]

i've only bought a few things from ebay (all cds). just
think of the numbers by the name as how quickly the will
ship an item. in the hundred or thousands, pretty quickly
(those are the "ebay shops"), and those in the single to
lower double digits ... well, i've been to the point where i
think "hey, where the hell is my cd?!" and it comes the next
day. avoid the lower numbers and take the time to read the
feedback. it's basically all the same unless there is
negative feedback.

I once bought a three week old baby on Asian's Ebay, it was
a boy though, my fault probably.

good one, a repeating gag. Yeah the girls are the rare ones,
because they usually drown them I think. They're more of a
collectors item.

Carl on 2001-10-09 18:02 [#00039779]

No, it was my fault because I didn't specify.

Narkotic from California, USA on 2001-10-09 18:04 [#00039780]

I buy all kinds of shit on ebay, never had any major
problems yet... you get what you pay for is the motto. Lots
of ubercool rare vinyls! I got SAWII vinyl on there for like
$70

Chrispy from UK on 2001-10-10 09:45 [#00039904]

There's an official SNES multitap (with pictures) in mint
cond on the UK e-bay at the mo. £25 though >_<

Scanned photos are always good for verification of the
product... look out for them.

Sound Assassin from The Patent Office UK on 2001-10-10 11:30 [#00039950]

I've used Ebay a shit load, still use a bit but I'm trying
to cut down! I've never had a problem SO FAR (touch wood)!
Great for finding rare afx stuff. Also really good for
second hand music gear - bought a Roland mc303 for £150!

Have fun

Chrispy from UK on 2001-10-10 11:40 [#00039953]

And I use that US thing, Paypal, if I ever buy from there. I
wish the UK had it too *If we do, can someone let me know
please?*

It's so safe it's untrue.

Baron Von picklefoot from The Baron got a DSL line Woo hoo on 2001-10-10 14:39 [#00039986]
