i think he's just full of crap, he dates it form the 1950's
to now. someone should send him an email and ask him what
his deal is?

I don't know who on earth would buy this...

I think it is purely decorative 'art' and wouldn't produce
any sound (apart from the usual sonorous noise when you hit
the spanners!) The story smells faintly of BS and the
picture just tops it off.

Oh and the people that made it (according to the picture)
"Ellipsis arts" seem to be a small record label, not a
design company...

"I was astounded by this piece as part of the booth display,
especially with how poignantly the piece represents
Richard’s musical works."

i would've been too, to think richard and that piece of
rubbish were ever in the same room is an insult to "musical
art"

and HOW does it "poignantly represent" his musical
works?!?!?!?

Sneaky bastidge! Nowhere does he explicitly state it was
designed/made/used by Richard D James, he just hints at it!
I recognise that ellipsis arts logo; I think they may be
the label that put out the OHM: Early Gurus of Electronic
Music compilation. The thing also says "experimental
musical instruments".

Whatever it is, I like the inclusion of a soapdish and
toothbrush holder.
