ok so my dream record has come up after 15 years of waiting
to find it :D

so i bid then unsurprisingly i get outbid. then what? do i
wait until the last minute or do i make my point felt by
immediately outbidding the 'opposition' and therefore
stamping my authority on the situation?

decisions, decisions...

ps - last time i tried to outbid someone on the last minute
i ran out of time, and this record is rather important to me
(and rather rare)

your advice please!

oh god I've been there.

I was waiting to outbid the other bidder at the last minute.
I kept refreshing like a madman, sweat on my brow..

I did win it though. :)

dont go often but if i see something i REALLY want i tend
to think of the max sum id be willing (able) to pay and just
bid the once......everytime someones puts a bid they re out
bid straight away ...they keep going for a while and then
stop.....watch out for the lethal "last minute bidders"
though...they can break hearts ; )

Okay, since you waited that long... use a sniper. That way
you won't lose, or at least the chances are less.

xOhx - is it safe to give all your details to these sniper
people..? Do you get bombarded with junk email once you give
them your email address or anything?

Have you used them a lot of times?
Thanks

Yes, no, and yes, respectively. Plus, the link I gave was
for a free service, up to 5 snipes a week. They're safe so
far.
