this track is awesome man, but sail to the moon is the best
thing they've done. can't wait til june 10th. i'm gonna buy
the limited edition (assuming there is one) and the normal
album.

Pearl Jam???, I don't know I haven't listened to PJ ina bout

Punch-out at a Wedding is great though!!
Sort of funny lyrics, paints a perfect picture of one of

out.

"repeated lyric "It should be Reagan" in "The Gloaming,"
Radiohead let you see, smell, taste, touch, and now hear
cheese in all its glory. And it sucks."

i don't know what the real lyric is, but it ain't "reagan".
what a crappy review of an unfinished album.

im also in love with the next song "sit down, stand up":

sit down
stand up
sit down
stand up
walk into the jaws of hell
walk into the jaws of hell
anytime
anytime
sit down
stand up
sit down
we can wipe you out anytime
we can wipe you out
anytime
anytime
sit down
stand up
sit down
stand up

the raindrops (repeat)

I think it's "you have not been paying attention, paying
attention..." but I may be wrong. However, I see your "Me
and my girlfriend," and raise you a "PENETRATION!
PENETRATION! PENETRATION!"

As for the line in The Gloaming: sounds like "it should be
ringing" to me.

That should be interesting... i can't really picture a

old pearl jam anyway), so it should be good.

lol
well i think it's safe to say from the "thank god"
that you're not a big fan of pearl jam ;-)

So that would explain it... you don't know all their songs,
recurring themes, particular guitar-sounds etc.

If there really are similarities like jarworski said, you
probably wouldn't notice them.

I still don't understand how an album can "accidentally"
leak out to the internet.

I always picture some guy in a camouflage-suit standing
outside the studio, holding a microphone by the open window
or something ;-)

But seriously... how does this happen? Studio-personel
intentionally takes a tape and puts it online? Hackers are
able to steal it from computers in the studio? Or...?

people are given copies by bandmembers, people working in
the studio make copies, giving it to each other under strict
instructions to only make a copy for themselves, not doing
this, until someone gets it who puts it on the net.

Jarworski: yeah .. definetly reminded me of pearl jam.
starts with 2+2=5 ... can't quite think where else ... also
the drums/bassline on where i end... kinda reminds of recent
chilli peppers.

all very vague and indirect sort of references tough.

yeah, i can SORTA see the pearl jam reference, in an odd
way. it wouldn't make sense if you didn't just kinda hear it
yourself, though. and i check edup on those lyrics... that
section goes as follows:

because you're not there
payin attention x3
yeah i feel it, i needed attention
payin attention x2
yeah i needed it, i needed attention
payin attention x2
yeah i love it, the attention
payin attention x2

now THESE are great lyrics...

we suck young blood:
----------------------------
are you hungry?
are you sick?
are you beggin for a break?
are you sweet?
are you fresh?
are you strung up by the wrists?
we want the young blood
are you fracturing?
are you torn at the seams?
would you do anything?
fleabitten, motheaten
we suck young blood (repeat)
(short, funky interlude)
whoah whoah
won't let the ivy creeping in
won't let the nervous bury me
our veins are thin
our rivers poisoned
we want the sweet meats
we want the young blood

hahahaha, the funniest part about this VERY disturbing song
is that it is about pop stars who hire young blood to
rejuvinate their careers for them (according to ed o'brien).
*cough*madonna*cough*

i love the vocal effect on 2+2=5: "you can SCREAM AND YOU
CAN shout but it's too late now"
it builds up so nicely! i've been listening to the live
version for about a year now and i still can't get enough of
it.
so sweet (L)
