How does it sound like ?! More elctronic or more like a
traditional INSTRUMENTAL Radiohead album !?

Just one thing to note, the word is that these are
unmastered recordings.

People are liking them though, so that's good enough for me
for the time being.

it was an intentional leak

offline tolstoyed from the ocean on 2003-03-30 04:29 [#00623756]

oh, and monoid-would you really like to see them do
electronica now? :)

offline zaphod from the metaverse on 2003-03-30 04:34 [#00623759]
Points: 4428 Status: Addict

somehow i doubt this album will sound any different three
months from now when its officially released.
i get the feeling the "unmastered" rumor is just wishful
thinking on the part of people who are dissatisfied with the
album. why they would be is beyond me, as i think its
brilliance.

cheers zaphod ... all about word of mouth innit. i think
there's something to leaked mp3.s = advertisement.

damn, listen to sail to the moon. now thats a song.
the gloaming is pretty cool too. weird sort of acoustic
electronica on this album.

i only managed to get 6 songs due to my 56K modem, but
damn... tis good... i believe that these are unmastered
recordings, before i read that i just was saying to my
friend how they sound more like demo versions... but anyway,
my ears are fucked... i have the flu

Radiohead is kinda boring, but I'll down a couple tracks
just because it's an illegal kick and it makes me feel
special to steal.

The results, from the rock side of the digital
revolution, have been unsurprisingly mixed -- we've been hit
with a swarm of mostly mediocre bands trying desperately to
spice up their undistinguished sound with a few clicks and
swooshes, and it hasn't been pretty.

I've listened to the first 12 tracks so far and I'm not too
impressed. That means little though, seeing as I felt the
same way about OK Computer but now consider that album one
of the greatest ever recorded.

I need to grab the final two tracks, burn to a CD and listen
to it as a whole.

1) because they're stupid
and/or
2) because at least half of them won't buy it anyway, so why
wait till everyone else has it before downloading

"hey george - it's all gone anyway :)"

hehe, good! :-p I almost couldn't resist temptation anymore.
I nearly started glueing my fingers to my desktop to stop
myself from listening to it.

"a pretty solid effort by radiohead standards"

:-)
Happy to hear that! Everyone seems to like it... except the
people that don't like radiohead anyways... so that's a good
sign. I'm excited to hear it when it gets released! :-D

Can the cover already be seen anywhere?
