Robocop. What a classic.
But the best film I'm watched recently for the first time
was Freeway with that girl from Legally Blonde and Kiefer
Sutherland... anyone else seen it?

AlbertoBalsalm > i haven't watched it yet, nor have read the
book, but a friend of mine recommended me to read the book
before because there was a lot of details and explanations
in the book that weren't even in the japanese Ringu movie
version...

at least that's what he said :)

...
last movie i watched?
eh... i don't even know °_°
last i saw in cinema must have been... LOTR II!
*gasp* damn university
i need to go to the cinema more often...

Terms of Endearment, last night on tv. I thought it was
really beautiful. I was very moved during some of the
scenes.

Also it was fun to see Jack Nicholson,
Danny DeVito, Jeff Daniels & John Lithgow all being so young
:-p (the movie is 20 years old, so...).

i liked the idea, michael moore's ideas, his beliefs, the
facts.. the hypocrisy. but i didn't enjoy how he pushed it
on pleople and the amoutn of propaganda.

but over-all i enjoyed it and thought it was a good message
for people to see and think about.

i like movies that make you think. even if it's about stuff
you don't believe in or agree with.

I saw that at the cinema, an experience severely disrupted
by kids, so that may be one reason I didn't really enjoy it
too much.

It had Zhang Ziyi in it though, which can never be a bad
thing.

yeah, it was ice cube.

i'd give it a 2.5 on a scale of 1 - 5.

it wasn't the worst movie ever, and it was somewhat
entertaining. but, there's something about it that i don't
really like. I didn't really think the acting was horrible,
but, i don't know... it just wasn't all that good.

plus it got annoying how they used way too many camera
effects... like they used them just because they could, not
to make any point in the film. the only one i liked was the
exchange of gunfire in the town where marky mark, and george
clooney get shot.

Dreamcatcher, very dissappointing for me. Liked the book,
but this movie was crap, a shame. Some good camera work and
effects are it's only retaining qualities. 2/5

Halloween, the orginal 1978 John Carpenter masterpiece.

Man, before that series descended into generic slasher fare,
Michael Myers was genuinely scary sonuvabitch.

Haven't seen it, but when I take this movie back tonight, I
just might rent it. I'm on a serious horror kick right now,
one nightly. I guess the clerks at the videostore think I'm
a psychopath.

age isn't an issue, seeing as how i'm neither gay nor a
pedophile. MWAHAHAHAHAHAH! but seriously, the peeps in this
area are a mixed bag, as far as age, race, sex, and
lifestyle are concerned. it's not weird for me to hang out
with someone younger than i am. i was 14 once, too.

ladder... anyway, it was nice to see a vietnam movie
that tackled the issue of all the mindaltering drugs our
government tested on soldiers (which they also did during
the persian gulf; who knows if they've since stopped, we
don't find things out for at least 10 years after they
happen).
