Yo, yo, yo!! I am interested to know if aphex is gong to be playing in Los Angeles anytime soon. does anyone have any kind of update on his possible arrival to Los Angeles. Or is L.A. security too tight for him to come and REALLY get jiggy wid it. Someone reply............. |

Did you know that basically no-one I know has heard of or likes Aphex Twin? This is probably because I live in NZ and only have one CD. It still sucks though. |

Gotcha.........as far as this guy's music, there is no doubt that he is quite brash on the extreme.....(very bragggadocio-ish)!! But since I have been a very recent fan of Aphex Twin, there is also no doubt there are great traces of genius in his music. Perhaps it's was the Leo complex that he was born under that gave him the courage to explore something out of that air of conventionalism and revolutionizes (sorry revolutionize-ing) the sound of music via electronika........and then having the conciousness to know at that moment of realization that you were going to do it and continue to make it happen. I know he has got crazy luca.....(money for ebonically challenged). |

Damn, I did not know that the new LP droppin' Monday was that fuckin' hot. Some of those tracks along with some other ones (i.e. SAW '85 - '92) are blazin'............ I actually like more than half the cuts on there and for me that is EXTREMELY exceptional. Is there any word out there on when he's PAR-LAY'in to Los Angeles. |

The interview with Aphex translated by SINE (the man) is pretty informative. just checkin' out this guy's demeanor is brash in the least. i guess those are one of the many perks for being the shit........ One love SINE!! |
