Anyone know why Sabres of Paradise changed names to Two Lone Swordsmen? I forgot and someone's just asked me why. I can't afford to let them see a gap in my knowledge. Help me out comrades.

I read that somewhere to. Sabres of Paradise was also the name of the club of one of the members. I think the whole story can be found on the warp site in the artist info of 2ls.
Haunted dancehall is a classic for me.

sabres of paradise was 3 people, weatherall, kooner and burns. they split completely, weatherall went off with tenniswood, who david holmes engineer at the time and formed tls. kooner and burns pissed off, and one of them (kooner i reckon) went to work with primal scream "behind the scenes."

so they didn't change their name, cos that would be stupid. they split up.
that would be like calling a dog shep for 8 years, then saying, "oh, that name is shit actually. i'm gonna call him spot instead."

No need to be patronising though mate. Say, you don't work in Selectadisc do you?

Ha, ha. That was just a friendly dig mate. I'm the King of Patronising.
But you have to be really rude to work there. Maybe you didn't give off the right vibes. Go in and nut one of them next time you're in there. For me.

The sexual tension in her is a bit hard to take. Why don't you both shag each other and get it over with?
