IDM Action Figures

I think they'd be pretty cool. The ''Come to Daddy''
playset with the demon, the old woman, the little
Richardites, the TV... something to show off to your friends
(for those of you that have some).

Autechre of course would just be the minimalistic ''two guys
behind a big music machine'' sculpture thing. Maybe they
could come with machine guns or something, because they'd be
boring otherwise.

They don't even need to be posable... hell, MOST ''action''
figures these days just stand there in a fixed position,
mega-detailed but style over substance... remember GI Joes,
how they could do ANYTHING? Now you're lucky if your toys
can swivel their heads.

It would just be nice to have a 6 inch tall Rhubear or
something to put on your desk. Todd McFarlane could do some
cool stuff with an Aphex license, I reckon.

heh

i was trying to come up w/ a topic idea somewhere along
those lines

Aphex is obvious tho. RDJ-faced children, the TV-demon, the
donkey-rhubarb bears, the clay things from the On video,
that weird dude in the elevator from Ventolin, RDJ's tank,
the Windowlickers, and last but not least, the Man in White

hell, you have GI Joe, Barbie, and now Aphex!

IDM action figures would kick ass! that rhubear idea is
great, as is the dog headed girl (with removable dog
shoulders) from the selector vid

sweet! i'd snatch those up quick!

what about faceless people from mhtrtc cover?
oh and the fetus-like rdj (wasnt that chris cunningham?)
from the afx v.237 vid for drukqs? complete with flicking
tongue!

how about a big plush cylob doll

the richard devine figure would be scary enough w/o anything
added

bjork figure w/ 20 different looks for each video and album
cover

and they can all play in sets based on BoC song titles

my girlfriend has tons of badtz maru stuff, including a
plush stuffed animal type thing on a keychain on her
backpack... also lots of stickers, notepads, etc.

Heh heh, I couldn't bring myself to buy the stickers...
girls can get away with that, but if I stuck a Sanrio
sticker on something it would be seen as fruity.

They even had Sanrio band-aids, which made me imagine
toddlers deliberately cutting themselves...
