we are IDM fans, we are so superior to all other sub
cultures, our generalizations rock.

can someone explain to me how loads of goths like the cure
when theres nothing whatsoever even slightly gothic about
their music? is it all down to the lead singer having a
white face?

the cures stuff off albums like "pornography" are very dark,
but they covered a lot of ground in their time.

yes i was a teenage cure fan.

depressing it is..

probably pornography, but if you're looking for pure
depression music, the cure isn't it.

on second thoughts, if you're gonna listen to any cure get
disintegration cause its head and shoulders above most of
the other stuff.

I think Disintegration and Pornography are kind of dark. I
read in a magazine (Revolver, I think) that those two and
Blood Flowers were part of a "Gothic trilogy"... I dont know
if I agree with that, but oh well.

People think I'm a goth because I rarely wear any colour and
have a long coat fetish.

did anyone else notice how marilyn manson's image changed
after 'come to daddy' came out? it was like a week later
and he had all these pix of him done to make him look like
the monster in the afx vid. well not exactly but it was
close enough.

It wasn't meant for anyone really, I was just being my
