i have a few records in my collection which i reckon i
could make a good bit of cash for them online if i decide to
sell them.
my fave out them all is the Bola album "Fyuti" picture
disc.
I also have the original copy of the White Stripes "White
Blood Cells" album on Sympathy For The Record Industry
Records.
I have a couple of others, but how much u reckon i'd get??

I need money too and I'm trying to sell a $280 set of
computer speakers that are 3mo old for $200 so I can have
money.

i have a £2000 sound-system for my car which i cant afford
to re-install into my newer car.
But i aint selling that.
VSnares woke the dead over that soundsystem

offline tolstoyed from the ocean on 2003-03-25 14:16 [#00615736]
Points: 50073 Status: Moderator

why don't you try and install it yourself?

not that i did that (but hey i've got money hehehe)

seriously, it will take you a lot more time than expert, but
with some instructions (you can find everything on the
internet) it shouldnt be a big problem. and you can do it
the way you like it-if it doesnt work out, you can still go
to professional

to tolstoyed: my speakers are too big for the car, i need a
special fitting..
they are 2 massive dyn-audio speakers for the front doors
and two ultra-fat subs for the boot.
no way, i'd do it myself, cos it would look and sound shit.
to bob: i wouldnt sell to anyone on the board, cos i want to
make shameless profit. :)

offline tolstoyed from the ocean on 2003-03-25 15:20 [#00615922]
Points: 50073 Status: Moderator

hmm, i had sam problem with big speakers, but surely you can
do a hole in your door by yourself :)
yeah, its better if expert does it...

im all pissed about my car set-up, if the temperature is low
the plastic in the car gets more solid so when i play
certain songs it makes this annoying sound-its barely
noticeable to others, but it meakes me very nervous since
i've spent so much on it...
but the summer's here and with this temperatures it sounds
great hehe

the guy i get to do it done a magic job on my last car...a
mini cooper.
it was amazing, the subs had to go under the back seat cos
they wouldntr fit in the boot.

offline tolstoyed from the ocean on 2003-03-25 15:23 [#00615934]

wow, how did you fit those front speakers in your mini? :)

offline WeaklingChild from Glasgow (United Kingdom) on 2003-03-25 15:24 [#00615940]

a special door mould had to be made.
the car was in the shop for two weeks.
it was hell. then i sold it two months later (minus the
soundsystem)

offline tolstoyed from the ocean on 2003-03-25 15:27 [#00615952]

yeah, i always hate to exchange cars after the music is
installed
i hate the waiting for it to be reinstalled in the new car
:)
i hope i'll stick with this one for some years now...

btw, that mini of yours must've looked something like that
ali g's renault hehe

under the bonnet, it was total shit.
something was always going wrong.
but, i had a cd changer in the boot, a minidisc head
unit.....and THOSE subs.
i got stopped by police for listening to music too loud
during the daytime at these traffic lights once.
life was good, then

there's only one way to get money...
the good old way...
prositution!
You'll be getting sex to!

there are some other not so attractive options:
1) selling some organs
2) moving some (1000) lawns.
3) collecting cans

I got a Sony CDX-MP40, it's pretty rad, plays mp3s and all
that jazz.

All the stuff wrong with your car should be covered in
warranty, if you have a warranty :-p
