With its bloody and violent past and its mile long track record of hosility, invasions, and overthrows of other countries around the world and especially South America, Africa and Middle East purely for the sake of its own vested interests the question is
has it earned the right to become the GOD police of the world and enforcing a twisted capitalistic dog-eat-dog New World Order on the rest of the world.

a god doesn't need a "right" ... sort of along the same lines as tits. power doesn't need to reason.
doesn't mean that america can't be potentially dethroned from its god like status. what though constitutes a "right"?

There are other countries with Mone, Saudi Arabia for one. No sir it is the weapons industry that's keeping US in a God like state.
But lets approach this question from another angle.
Do you think America has the ultimate societal blueprint that qualifies being imprinted on the restof the planet?
Just consider these points before replying.
1.America IS the most violent, crime riddled, murder infested country in the western world.
2.The USER pays systems for the health and welfare makes it the worst country in the WOrld to fall off the horse on, and the easiest to fall through the cracks in.Sometimes the gap between joblessness and homelessness isless that a few weeks. At the same time ridiculous tax cuts for the corporations at the expense of the people also inversly leads to further oppertunism and greed in the corporate sectors leading to job cuts, lack of benefits and other cost cutting measures.
3.The school level educational system is quite simply put appalling, with many of the schools across the country having to resort to 4 day weeks, simply because of budgetry cuts.
4.The Capitalist economic struture is rife with and wide open to corruption as proven by the recent extensive state of corporate crime.
5.The deeply entrenched Bi Partisan political system is in itself a laughable model for democracy, and with the development of the NEW LEFT,the differences between the two options given to the voters are miniscule, and to the many disenfrenchised sectors of the society it's basically not an option at all, as evident from some of the biggest margins of absenteism in the Western World..upto 50%. in the worst case scenarios.
Simply put upon close examination, the first three problems with America are directly related to the ridiculous overspending on the Arms/Defence sector in the national budgets, at the expense of social spending and welfare of the citizens.
So is this the system that SHOULD be forcibly implented on the rest of the planet?

I've found the foreign politics of the USA always a bit arrogant. It's their way or no way. I got quite an apocalyptic feeling thowards the ongoing war. Like capitalism and western society as we know it is about to hit seriously rock bottom. No NWO for me, although I like the Ministry song.

Never said they did, however, I can't think of an example of the US obliterating a country.
Oh, I'm sure they've fucked some up, but obliterating is too strong a word.

None of those countries were obliterated.
Dictionary definition of obliterated: 'To do away with completely so as to leave no trace.'
I'm sure you can find many other words to describe the level of destruction in those countries that are much more accurate.

So now we are going to spend the rest of the night debating Semantics?
If a country is knocked back into the stone age(not my words btw).
Or if the country has to be built back from ground up. Or if a countrys political/social/religous system is done away with and replaced with a new one..
Obliteration is definetly the word to use.

US costs for this war: 75 billion dollars (according to news.bbc.co.uk)
US has homeless people, unemployment, bad social security, there's an economical crisis, public schools barely have enough money for the basics of education...
It's insane to spend that amount!

I think the Taliban did a pretty good job of setting back Afghanistan a couple of hundred years. In fact, it's probably the US that saved the country from the fate you accuse it of causing.
Iraq is quite obviously not a stone age state, anyone with eyes can see that.

"Do you think America has the ultimate societal blueprint that qualifies being imprinted on the restof the planet? "
No.
BUT: Whilst public opinion by and large DOES have an effect / and your points might persuade a large number of people, they remain controversial points that some people will undoubtedly find contentious. A clash of "ends".
What I think the "power" argument suggests (whether power be money, the weapons industry, this that and or the other) is that to a large extent the justification of the actions are irrelevant. I don't mean to appear defeatist, but the US, crudely put has the power to hold the world to ransom. the UN, France etc. may voice their opinions, but they have not and are not stopping what is going on.
Whether the war will eventually be stopped by public opinion or otherwise, i think what is important to realise is that the war HAS started.
That was my move in the game.

Trust me with the horror theatre the US has become with eroding Civil liberties and Constant Terrorist (majority of them fake) alerts. And to that the apalling crime situation, an the right to carry guns.
Nobody I know envies Americans, and they neitherdo they wish to be in their shoes.

The war HAS been severely altered by the protests. The US game plan had to be severly shuffled and altered. 3000 missiles and bombs werent dropped on the first day(mercifully). The global support has given the Iraqi a sense of nationalism, the resistance is a lot more spirited then it would have been. And Iraqis are not exactly welcoming this intrusion with open arms and song and dance.

one of the good things could be that US withy their military power is like an obstackle to some of the people/countries that could do some bad things...
one of the things that makes me think US is doing all this because of the money is that they take this actions/wars only in countries they can benefit from...

I think you're one of the most one-sided people I've ever met. Does the death and injury of over a million Americans during WW2 mean nothing to you?
