Bowling for Columbine = most overated movie of the year

btw: looks like that shit documentary was staged in a number
of ways, and the Wall Street Journal considers him a con
artist

Moore is a Con says WSJ

i read that too, good article.. a lot of it is true, some of
it is, ironically, manipulatively written

all documentaries are more or less weighted... I don't agree
with you, I liked BFC.

here's another link going point by point how Michael Moore
is a liar and fraud.

link

the punchline from the Wall Street Journal

"Mr. Moore would deserve an Academy Award if there were an
Oscar for Best Cinematic Con Job.

If "Bowling for Columbine" is a comedy, most of its fans
don't know it.

They actually believe they're watching something that is in
rough accord with reality. "

I thought BFC was very funny (among other things).
It also brings up some important subjects.
America's got lots of problems that won't be solved for
years to come.

That lowly vermin scourge! Surely he knew millions of
poorly educated and easily impressionable human beings would
suck up and, without question, integrate everything they saw
and heard on the screen. My friends all praise this film as
one of the greatest in modern cinema(whatever that means)..
Right up there with Donnie Darko and Requiem for a Dream.
It's too bad they don't have the attention spans or reading
skills to comprehend what was written on the two pages I
just looked at.

keep in mind those are both written by conservatives, it's
just as subjective as michael moore

pay careful attention to how they word things, what they
cite as evidence, and what they mention vs. what they don't.

also denounce an unelected president?

Look who wrote the article. John H. Fund. Who is a
conservative and who co wrote a book with James K. Coyne who
was a special assitant to Ronald Reagan.

It was interesting to see the front row (Harrison Ford, Nic
Kidman etc) during his speech... they were all sitting
veeeery still... not clapping. They choose thier words very
carefully so as NOT to make any political viewpoint at all.

is it just me or does Kidman look really horrible with her
hair up? And also, is it just me, or is Selma Hayek a dawg?

She needs to fuck right off with all that Welsh shit. She's
just trying to mark herself out from other Hollywood
actresses. And she wants her little nation to adore her and
egg her on in Hollywood. But when she falls flat on her face
I'll be here, dick in hand, ready to piss on her back.

I like the fact she gave love to everyone in Swansea. Apart
from her parents and the odd bloke who says "I fucked 'er",
everyone thinks she's a cunt.

That was great... I watched Bowling for Columbine for the
first time last night, too, and it's a mindfuck.

I DO lock my doors though! And I don't know anybody with
guns though, let he says we all have firearms up here... so
I guess I live in a bizarro Canadian province.
