They just created some user forums over at EMusic and there's this dirtball woman complaining that they don't have Bob Seger and Ted Nugent. *gag* No amount of time and ironic distance will ever make Bob Seger and Ted Nugent palatable, ever again. EMusic has shitloads of excellent music. It's like being in a swanky restaurant eating tasty and unusual food and a dirtball at the next table is complaining that they don't have beefaroni on the menu. |

It's jazz with gypsy, cuban, middle eastern, spanish, latin, world kind of influences. But don't let that turn you off! It works together well and swings and it's challenging enough to not be fern bar wallpaper. There are 30- second samples. Follow my link. |

Heh. I hardly remember - there was some Siouxsie, and some Morricone... You should sign up for the free trial with EMusic and snag a couple of albums. Asides from all the great jazz and world music, they have the complete Matador catalog, stuff from respected electronic labels like Mille Plateaux, shitheaps of interesting tracks. Just not much in the way of "classic rock" or current pop hits, which suits me fine! :-) |
