From what I heard the twin part of Aphex Twin came from the fact that when he first started doing tracks it was with someone else who dropped out and he kept the name. |

Yes but he did have a recording partner in the early days called Tom Middleton and the coincidentaly had the same birthday, hence the Twin. Plus Mr James has never definitively said where the name originated from. :) |
