Its like soul and RnB mixed with a bit of old skool hip hop

I bought mind evelation and it's got some real beauties on
there

Also apparently Smokers Paradise is great for smoking weed
to

It's "Smoker's delight" that Murray is talking about.

As an intro I'd recommend either Smoker's Delight or Car
Boot Soul. The former can be found for about £6 in a lot of
record stores so I'd go for that.

Very good background music for just drinking/smoking talking
with mates.

Car boot soul is also a bit like a porn soundtrack :)

Porn Soundtrack? In the way its got cheesy saxaphones, or
that its unspeakably funky?

It's just quite sleazy lounge- lots of sax and funk :)

Christ is excellent. Get a copy of pylonesque while you
still can. I hear that his new (soon to be released) album
is very good...

Christ is a little BoCish- more electronic sounding than the
grainy organicness that you'd normally associate with BoC.
Makes it sound a bit colder and more futuristic than BoC's
typical sound, but composition wise they're pretty close.

Pylonesque is classed as an EP (7 tracks if I recall...) and
is quite cheap. Even the 12" is only £6. Worth a DL to try
it out at least.

I saw a christ album at this record store by my house, I
think I shall get it if it's close to BoC
