Yeah, demo's usually suck. If it's a good and affordable program I'll buy, but I'd like to use the full version first.

I also will wait 'till I can try the full version. I didn't use FL that much. I've read that each pattern can have it's own lenght now, a big improvement.
I think stuff like Floops studio and Reason are going to take a big part of what was 'till now for the more expensive software like Cubase & Sonar.

It was the major reason I never really got into floops. I still got to get hold of your tunes, Ceri but lack of time and slsk going bezerk almost every day made it hard lately.

He he, I was going through some old emails the other day and remeberedabout that...
I'm on most weeknights nowadays, so any time you're on, feel free.
Re: pattern length- the only workaround I've found is to always set patterns to 64, then for duplicate the shorter ones and shift them a bar down (use left/right on that channel). I can't usually be bothered to do this and I must admit it has affected my style.

yeah, right, 64 channels..
the new features....
New Mixer with :
- 64 channels
- Track rerouting and chaining
- Track recording with ASIO input channels support
- Integr. track equalizer, volume and panning controls
- Automated effects mute and effects mix level New audio tracks with waveform preview & support for cue points
Direct-to-disk recording & offline rendering of mixer tracks.
Integrated Wave Editor (ctrl-E) 64 FX tracks New "Piano Roll" playlist style, showing the accurate pattern lengths
Patterns can start at any time (not aligned to bars anymore)
Now supports custom grid length for each individual pattern
New Live Mode for live performances and quick tests New Cut & Paint tools are available in the Playlist and Piano Roll windows
The Fruityslicer now autoslices all beats without the need for BeatSlicer
Usable as DXi client (usable in Sonar) Dashboard (allows you to design & draw your own internal & midi controllers)
Boobass (realistic Fender Bass simulator) Wave Traveller (tool that allows you to 'travel' through wave files using a spline based path)
Updated Beepmap Support for multiout VSTi plugins (generators only) ... a lot of smaller features, updates & bugfixes.
thx laquero for the link, i'll download it at home ...

ive had the full version for a few weeks and it kicks ass.
the wave travelizer is awesome. the fact that the patterns can all be differnt legnths is also a huge plus.
the effects mixer is something that it needed a while ago and im glad its there. a small eq per effect channel as well which is nice.
anyway, if you liked FL before its only better now.
