I don't think I'm gonna buy 26 mixes either. I'm not too
fond of compilation releases myself. Draft 7.30 is on the
wishlist for my birthday of course ;)

There are a few really good tracks on 26 remixes, but a lot
of them I just rate as mediocre- maybe if more of them were
truly outstanding to the level deep in purple/raising the
titanic are I'd buy the CD, but as it is I'm not finding my
boycott hard to maintain!

if the same collection had been released 4 years ago under
different circumstances i garauntee you'd be praising it
instead of bashing.

thought it was a must have, esp if your an Aphex fan.

Dude, no coins? Not good form for the warp kru.

If I had ordered mine from Warp I would definitely expect
some choccy coins.

You mean before I got into records? You're right, I would of
been happy with the CD version.

I maintain that I think a lot of the content is pretty weak
though (compared to his other stuff). There are some
excellent tracks on there and I'd buy it on vinyl for those
alone, but on CD I know I'd end up just MP3ing a couple of
the tracks and then leave the Cd at my parent's house. I no
longer buy records purely as a collector- they have to be
things I actually really like to play.

Didn't Rich himself say that a lot of his remixes just take
the piss as revenge for people wanting to be able to put his
name on the cd rather than they like his music? I think the
quality of some of the remixes shows this to be true...

what about the cd quality ?
Had anyone little waste spots on the inner circle of the CD
?

by me
cd 2 had spots and plastic lines on....

Not sure about "waste spots" (?), but my copy of Meam had a
big crease in the inner artwork. Oh well, I suppose it shows
it was put together by human hands (if maybe not with love
and care).
