MONSOIR OCHRE

wizards teeth on 2001-10-02 10:11 [#00038346]

I will come to the event at the black swan.

I assume it is on the 18th October.

Do perform live many times?

Do you fancy setting up a small electronic music "movement"
in newcastle (if there is not one all ready). I have played
live once and have some new material ready to play. I am not
aware of many followers of non standard electronic music.

Have a think.

See you on the 18th.

Monsier le Dents du Wizard,

Yep, it's on the 18th (Thursday?) - I'm glad you'll come
along! I'll sort exact times out soon.

Actually, it'll be my first gig. When I say I'll be playing
live, I mean arse around infront of my PC with a copy of
Traktor and a Kaos Pad. But I intend to alter songs to make
them flow a little more and add a few other bits and bobs.
It'll be interesting, anyway. I just hope that a few people
turn up! It's actually the opening night for a record label
a mate of mine's starting up (Opposite Lock), so there's 3
of us playing small sets (~30 mins.)

Yeah, if this gig goes well then I wouldn't mind setting up
a half-decent electronic night. I don't think there's too
much in the way of good electronic nights. There's Reverb,
but that tends to be a little too Techno-ey (but Autechre
played there, so hey). So I reckon there's scope for a good
night in Newcastle.

Cheers,

Chris.

Rdj:
Cheers, Rich. I've there's any time left I'm sure I could
let you DJ at our gig, but only (and I mean only) if you
give me a special advance copy of Druqs, and you entire
unreleased back catalogue on DVD. Otherwise you ain't
getting in, Kapisch? Oh, an' I'll have your Tank, too. Yer
cunt.
