Listened to tri repetae last night for the first time in
awhile. Struck me again how siiiick this album is! And
eutow is FAT! Had to share. :) (favourite tracks of the
album, anyone?)

omfg I know, Eutow is the sickest track Autechre have ever
made!!! :D :D

I also really, really like Dael, Clipper, Rsidio, and
c/patch. Bow down to the glory that is Autechre
bizoyches!!!1 :P

i think the best track off tri is leterel.

offline darkpromenade from Australia on 2003-03-15 01:56 [#00596092]
Points: 2777 Status: Regular

leterel is good, no doubt, different vibe to eutow, clipper,
rsidio, but WORTHY.

c'mon, lets face it, a shorter list is "autechre tracks I
dislike"! :)

that would be almost everything on chiastic slide and
incunabula.

what is it about incunabula you dislike?

offline optimus prime on 2003-03-15 02:13 [#00596109]

it's flat, and dull, and easy, and thin. give me 604 over
incunabula.

it's very sad. i don't know why, but there is something very
forlorn about it to me.

yes. like someone walking to their judgement along a country
road on a very rainy day, and large trucks passing them by
every so often if only to remind them that they are still
not alone in the world.

i picture a very sad and crying girl sitting by a stream.
everything is whitewashed looking, worn. lots of spring
flowers. weeping willow trees.

what? the visuals for vletrmx? thank you very much. i am
very visual in how i hear and create music... so, if you
think that that is good, then hopefully my ideas for my own
stuff will be good as well.

I never hear what's so great about Amber, except for
Yulquen. Tri Repetae is alright, in my opinion. There are a
few tunes I like on there, but I hardly ever reach for it
when I want to hear Autechre.

eutow is my favorite song by AE ever!!

i love to drive over the university bridge at night with
this song going; with the city lights and stars reflecting
in the lake 100 feet below. and the street lights and road
reflectors ripping by at 80 mph. oh god.
that is easily my best musical experience ever.

i agree with you about amber.
i kinda didn't like tri-reptae at first, but after a few
months of getting smoked, and driving around at night with
it in the speakers... you try it, you'll like it.

Somehow, when I listen to overand....I imagine I am in a
looong dark metal tube thing...with a blue light at the
other end, cut out at periodic intervals by the blades of a
huge fan that blocks out that entrance. And two streams of
shiny cloth ribbons/light flowing past and intertwining.
Like the trails of a really really long flag from a funeral
march that has just passed by.

It's okay. The percussion is a little lacking next to
everything else. Stud, Clipper, Gnit and Rsdio are my
favourites... Rotar is my least favourite.
