I want to get into jazz - trouble is - I'm having some trouble. Could you please help?
BTW, I'm interested in jazz - not downtempo, Ninja Tune stuff. (That can be good too - just not what I'm looking for.)
My favourite jazz record so far is: Filles de Kilimanjaro by Miles Davis
I've also checked out: Ornette Coleman Jazz Messengers John Coltrane Sun Ra
Any suggestions?

i don't know much jazz so i can only recomend the obvious, though they are certainly worthy of their popularity:
Kind of Blue Love Supreme

John Zorn,s Game Pieces 1.Cobra and 2.Xu Feng
this is like mind blowing avant garde improvisational jazz which sounds like glitch done live with real instruments

Not much, just one track called "$10 Bill".
Just found someone who has what looks like an album or two on soulseek, so I'm going to get some more, hopefully.

Ornette Coleman is (in my opinion) one of the greatest jazz artists ever. He basically invented structured-free jazz, and even John Coltrane himself said he was single handely his biggest influence ever, Coltrane would beg Coleman for lessons. I suggest purchasing his box set its unfuckinbalievable.
