lately i've beenw wanting to listen to some dark drum and bass/jungle and Panacea was the only name that came to mind. what's a good album of his, something that's really hard?
also, suggest some other fast hard dark dnb/jungle.

at the beginning of the Panacea video, he plays some sounds that sound like some sounds squarepusher used.

I am a big fan of Panacea's pre German Engineering stuff...
Low Profile Darkness..is the closest to Drill'n'Bass actually very close to Dolls Dolls Dolls Venetian Snares
Twisted Designz-Hard as nails Pounding and Metallic Jungle..his most linear and unrelenting album..
Phoenix Metabolism-My Favourite..a lot of Distorted heavy as fuck hip hop enters into his standard mileu and some glitchy elements as well..
Hanayo in Panacea-His project done together with a Female Japanese performance artists called Hanayo..this is noisy and twisted as fuck and the most experimental of his Panacea albums (he has a glitch project called Sinecore on Mille Plateaux)..imagine Bjork dead and resurected as a poison spewing zombie harpie from hell...

Low profile darkness is the shit, especially the "reality rmx" which I played out constantly back in my dj days. You shouldn't miss out on NO U TURNS - TORQUE album though, they don't use as much distortion as panacea, but there's no cheeze to be found...
