Floops went berserk!!!!!!

I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but ever
since I plugged in an extra 256 MB RAM, FruityLoops acts
like a fucking retard. Sound is distorted, unless I increase
the buffer length. But when I do that, the oscilloscope and
the little orange arrow in the playlist act strange.

Any idea how this is possible and how it can be solved?
Thanks in advance.

I just wanted to close FL (and Absynth closes automatically
with FL) and it became a crash and glitch fest which took me
about a minute to terminate :-\

The orange arrow on mine waggles back and forth instead of
going forward smoothly. I always thought it was normal until
I saw it run properly on someone else's PC.

Yes, that sounds like Fruityloops alright.

exactly!!! and the oscilloscope acts slow too.... That in
itself is not too big of a problem but the crash I got 5
mins ago is fuckng abnormal!

Mine crashes on a VERY regular basis -- ANd I mean more
often than daily...more like 5 times if I'm using it at
night for a couple of hours.

Ah right sometimes it goes normally and sometimesit shuffles
on mine. I'd always assumed there was some "shuffle"
variable I'd tweaked by accident!

Cue chorus of: "Get Reason!"

eXX, it's probably all those 3rd party plugins you use
messing it up ;)

absynth is quite cpu intensive, so yeah, it can sometimes
play up a bit.

I've never had any problems whatsoever with FL before the
RAM upgrade. Hasn't crashed even once, not even with all the
plugins (and btw in the track I was working on I only used
one or two 3rd poarty plugins) :-\

my little track progress slider stutters.
i try to use f loops just like a sketch pad and do all my
mixing in soundforge and acid. that way i can avoid some of
f loops shortcomings.
