i kinda liked rage against the machine when i was a teenager like 15 or 14 years old and i think they're the best funk metal\crossover band but audioslave sucks.the new song is really horrible.cochise sucked too.i'm starting to think that zack was the real soul of the band.how can tom morello and the others sell out in this way?and all the stuff about politic?it was just an image for the fans? boh |

I don't think that this is a fair compairison. Sure Rage was great and hey, so was soundgarden but audioslave is a different band. Morello and the guys didn't sell out they just went in a different direction. And i think they picked up a good lead singer! Of course i am sure others might not share my opinion but i just wanted to state it. |

did you heard the whole cd?i'm judging from the 2 singles and it seems to me generic hard rock.i'm disappointed because i liked battle of los angeles a lot,i think it's their most experimental(mic check is amazing) |

they're not as raw as ratm, but what can you expect? they're getting older :) but still-musicaly, morello is a guitar artist-it makes me think of how the fuck can he play like that (even tho i cant play gutair :) ) probaly audioslave are even better (musicaly), tho i prefer ratm |

on the 2 songs i heard tom morello doesn't do anything exceptional.cochise is a very straight song.i can find it by ear.no strange effects.the other song has a solo and the guitar as a strange tone but that's all. |

no, i havent seen that, could be true... but still, i liked the alexia song the best! and i really dot care about who wins-i just care about the good music-and usually there are 2 or 3 nice songs every year i especially like luisa's winning song from couple of years back! |

The audioslave-cd is pretty good i think. Altough the new single (like a stone) is quite representative of their "sound" imo... if you didn't like that one, i doubt you'd like the entire album. But personally... i love that sound :-) It reminds me sooo much of soundgarden. |
