can't believe that cynical cunts like pete waterman are
still walking this earth whilst guys like Mr. Meek are long
gong. Someone go do us all a favour and shoot waterman in
the face.

pete waterman is the guy who wrote pop tunes such as kylie
minogues "i should be so lucky" and dead or alive's "you
spin me round" (or whatever its called), he may or may not
be a pop genius but he is obviously a complete twat (he's on
the tv on pop idol and that)... To put the stuff Joe Meek's
produced into context today would probably be to say that he
would piss on the most excellent stuff by the Neptunes etc.
from a great height.

joe meek "home made hits & rarities 1959 - 1966" and "i hear
a new world" (if you can track it down) demonstrate this.

As for Waterman, someone should kneecap the bastard. soon.
come on it would be funny.

and i dunno, the guys music (and sleeve liner notes for "i
hear a new world") are just so naive and excellent, he
didn't deserve to snuff it so soon.

'Telstar' is on and I think I really am gonna cry.
