i know its a bit pre-mature, but im starting to get VERY
psyked! a new album (with guests like otto von schirach!)
AND a world tour! i saw ogre twice live (once with pigface
in their prime, once with ohgr) and i have to say he really
IS the best frontman around. he puts 110% into EVERY single
show. i am so happy, it has always been a dream for me to go
see them live. just imagine seeing the lights fade up, and
"worlock" fades in.... MAN! im gonna flip!

Heard of them but never heard them. What's a good starting
point? If it sounds more like ATR than Ministry I won't
bother mind.

it sounds like a band that has influenced everyone who does
modern electronic. even autechre claim to love these guys,
even did a remix. WAY better than ministry! good starting
point? "last rights", their masterpiece!!! also very good:
"too dark park" (though kinda synth-poppy) "rabies"
(produced by al jourgensen) and even though some dont like
it "the process" is a good one. if i were you id look into
everythign these guys have done, theres something for
everyone, trust me.

Ive been waiting for their reunion cd to come out forever.
I just hope its more like their classic stuff. They really
changed after the keyboardist od'ed. I hated most of the
tracks on the process and Ohgrs solo stuff isnt that good.
I do agree that last rights is a masterpiece and thier old
stuff like remission is awesome.

I'd love to see Skinny Puppy live. :D
I liked Ohgr's solo record--it's not in the same vein as
Skinny Puppy, but it's awesome in itself. I'm looking
forward to the reunion album--I think they must have tons of
ideas about what types of tracks they're going to record. ;D

Super cool 10 years later update, tibbar and I did go see a
show on that tour. Electric Factory in Philly; Otto was
booed for being too weird for the rivetheads, Puppy was good
but of course it is not quite like it would have been to see
them in the late 80s-early 90s.
