this thread can be closed in a few hours, i just need some opinions. i'm making an idm compilation and want to put some ( 2 or 3) tracks of winter in the belly... on it, but i can't decide which ones to choose please tell me your favs (i you have any) thx |

haha damn you guys, you all together named me 9 different tracks again, all my fav's too :D i guess this thread doesn't work very well lol :) thanks anyway, i think i'll choose 'in quod' for the climax and 'gothramen' for in the end (or maybe 'warm body') maybe i'll put tattoo and sink snow angel on it aswell again thx :) |

They're just separate IDM tracks (no mix) which i put on MD for myself but also for others to get into IDM. i've made three 80min. In Quod is probably the only interesting Venetian Snares songs I've heard.. that's not to say that it completely works though |

i've never really put myself to listen to tri repetae (same counts for chiastic slide) i know i should, i'll probably pick something out for nr.4 :) rae is also great indeed, i should've used more from LP5.. but there's so many :\ aphexacid.. i haven't heard much luke vibert to be honest, i'll d/l some of his stuff, i'll probably like it thx for the thoughts |

yeah who is that in the avatar and what's she biting there? a lot of venetian snares seems too gratuituous to me.. like certain rhythmic elements can, through the use of certain technologies, go all over the place.. but that doesn't mean that if you do that, it'll sound good... also, Morton, don't you notice an almost frustrating disconnect between rhythm and backing melody (I'm thinking track 2 on that WITBOAS lp) it's as if one has absolutely nothing to do w/ the other |
