if we have 24 finalist we can chose which 12 are already qualified, and the other 12 to be chosen among 48 artists...(6 groups of 8 artists each and the first two, pass ) its clear who the first 4 or 5 will be, but with this pre-qualification stage, we can see what 12 are the best among 48, and that will be interesting too, then among 24 we know that aphex, pusher autechre boc and those will make it to the final stages but it will also be fun to see the order of qualification from 1 to 24, at the end we will know the comunity preferences among 60 artists besides, the prequalification will be very equalized because non of the big ones will be in there, and that will make it really interesting anyway if people demand some more artists then instead of 48 we can add some and it is just that the 6 groups instead of being of 8 each will be of 9 or 10 (as maximum) but still 2 will be the ones that qualify. 2x6 = 12 |

the chemical brothers were in last years competition, but they were cos people voted them, so... actually they beat bodgan razcynski and thats why they got to the 1/4 finals but as they are not idm they wont be here this year. if you dont like this, you are lucky...you are not obliged to post or read in this thread |

what is fsol then? and some of lfo isn't very 'technoish' either.. and i remember j-hawk telling me that all those doods say they make techno, including afx. so what is my point? i do not know. but as far as intelligent dance music goes i'd say both fsol and lfo are that :) |
