balthus from europe on 2001-09-30 00:28 [#00037859]

anger -

glass. violin concerto

waits. bone machine

bernstein. dybbuk

(but i didn't listen to those albums recently, guess i'm not
often often angry)

sad -

jazz like paul bley's not two, not one

erik satie. nocturnes, pieces froides (etc)

boards of canada. a beautiful day in the country

philip glass. facades, the screens, symphony no.3 (etc)

happy

igor stravinsky. violin concerto

japanese hyperactive-happy weird stuff pizzicato five and
towa tei

steve reich. nagoya marimbas (that's so much like nannou...
if you like nannou, check this piece out!)

boards of canada. beautiful place

actually, when i'm happy, i'm in the mood for everything,
even dark schönberg.

i didn't list aphex... well, i listen to his music mostly
when i'm happy (even at the heart of it all, icct hedral or
isopropanol, flim, or nannou)

balthus from europe on 2001-09-30 00:32 [#00037861]

oh, well, i guess it's so difficult to make such a list, oh,
and i forgot phil glass in the happy list - of course.
