SQUAREPUSHER IS BRILLIANT

and i'm expecting my warpmart order of his new t-shirt
soon. i'm so excited =)

since all this recent negativity towards the musical god
that is squarepusher, i would like to hear all of my fellow
[]< fans unite in this thread to phrase his brilliant work,
which others ignorant fools don't seem to "get" ...those are
mainly some cold hearted robots (that's what i've come to
BELIEVE) that listen to Æ!

Æ fans...sorry what i said, didn't mean it. i think Æ are
ok, but it doesn't really matter what i think. in the end
everyone's titled to their opinion. in this thread i seek
people with high opinion on squarepusher. LET's phrase our
god.

i have to praise []....i have to praise [] like i
shooouuulddd. i have to...

i only liked fatboy slim's better living through chemistry.
what came afterwards was shit. THAT's ofcourse IN MY HUMBLE
OPINION :)

squarepusher made me come on his selector and i don't even

effect apparently..

ONLY Squarepusher can do THIS

* Dublin 2001, Sqaurepusher is due on stage after a warmup
DJ

*His box of tricks is there but no Tom, Some peple are off
their head, some are drunk, i am a bit fucked after one
pill
* A warm, low, hum, starts playing creating an electrical
feeling in the air

* After 20 minutes of this fuzzy emptiness, being able to
hear people chatter, eyes are wide with expectation - a lot
of people are looking disgusted
* By the time another 20 minutes has passed the folks are
almost going crazy with annoyance "Where is the cunt?",
"i´m going home" "What a prick!"

*THEN
On he comes, turns on the machinery and totally obliterates
everyones annoyed mood with 1 hour of pure sonic assault,
twisting you this way and that, the drunks collapsed, the
pill poppers entered another universe and i stood there and
cried like a baby as my spine decatyed into primordial jelly
......ending with "Cmon my selector". AMEN to the Pushah!

i think squarepusher sucks, he's dead, his live acts are
more or less exactly the album except for a little white
noise and some delay manipulation, he's everything that
electronic music is not, plus hes extremely cheazy, and hes
got a huge ego.

Here here.

Furthermore:
1) only about 23% of his output is any good (sometimes
amazing)
2) his last album was awful (including that pretentious
manifesto)
3) i wish he would go away
4) VSnares does Squarepusher-type stuff better than
Squarepusher

Of course, that's just my opinion.

wtf didn't you all [] bashers read the thread? I CREATED
THIS POST FOR SQUAREPUSHER FANS TO REPLY ONLY! Vsnares does
[]-type better than []?!? They haven't done any squarepusher
type stuff. even if they tried they couldn't. that's a
ridicilous thing to say.
