The two best V/Vm releases (for me) are 'Uplink Data
Transmissions' and the more recent 'Sometimes, Good Things
Happen'. The latter is actually two albums with the same
tracklisting, one leaning toward ambient, the other noise.

The Caretaker is the best artist on V/Vm Test Records, with
two quality thirties-ballroom-chillout albums 'Selected
Memories From The Haunted Ballroom' and 'A Stairway To The
Stars'. Similar, though lighter in tone is H>ost's 'Cin'.

[from indieville.com]

Electronica pranksters V/VM made a series of 2
"HelpAphexTwin" releases, made of unofficial and
unauthorized remixes of Aphex Twin's work. They are both 3"
cd's, and are released on their own "HelpAphexTwin" label.
HAT01 (the first release) is called "we don't give a shit"
and HAT02 (the second release) is called "because you don't
give a fuck". Despite thier prankster notoriety, they claim
that they were "not fooling" when they made this series.
Yeah right.

Yes it's tops. I got their "Pudding/Turkey" release as an
Xmas present from Mr. Kirby of V/VM.

Danbrusca: The Caretaker is actually V/VM under another
alias- not just an artist on their label. I agree that a
stairway to the stars is one of the best releases on their
label.
