I haven't heard it. Is it out in north america because i heard it was going to be delayed until January here, but it's out everywhere else... I may have to import it. The Eels are fantastic. I haven't heard the mp3's, but i have heard the single and have the video for Souljacker, which I think is great...... yeah. |

Get the English import; it comes with a free second disc of four extra songs (1b-side, 2 previously unreleased, and 1 remix). AND!!! It has funny sleevenotes! The album itself is great -- it may sound unremarkable at first, but it's a real grower. |

You can get the Souljacker Part 1 video on the CD single. It's actually one of my least favorite songs on the album; there are many others that would have made better first singles. barret- i got the eels album today, and i must say im far more impressed than i expected to be, this seems like it surpasses daisies of the galaxy for me (which i thought was their weakest, however some of the tracks on there are very good anyway) it's a good comeback that has made me happy that i actually did spend the money.. |

I've been a pretty harcore fan of Spiritualized and Spacemen 3 for a while now, and after royal albert hall i was worried aout the gospel influence on his albums, and worried that this album would be a little too extreme... there's a bit but not too much. It's very traditional sounding now. The closing track is 'Lord can you hear me?" which you may know from spacemen 3.... I'd recomend downloading it first i guess. At first listen it wasn't too crazy about it as i've always been a fan of the cop shoot cops and whatnot... the really spacey stuff. I figure it'll grow on me alot. After a couple listen's i do like it alot. It's my least favourite, but still great. (then again, i've had the others for so long, it's hard to say what i'm going to like more once i'm as used to it as i am to the other 3...) i should have just written a formal review. i don't think you'd be disapointed if you just bought it. check it out. and where do you live? because it dosen't appear that the new eels is out in north america, and that it's been delayed till january. in which case i'll have to get the import with the bonus cd....... |

i live in canada, around vancouver..it isnt out in america unfortunately (the eels album) i honestly havent heard a lot of spiritualized..only stop your crying really, but i hear good things about them..i'll get the spiritualized album sometime in the future, right now got to save for drukQs, though I'll probably buy another album in between saving up..so either spiritualized or stereolab |
