So thats a stupid thing to say. For instance it'd be pretty stupid waging war against a country the size of China, backing rebellion well thats a different story. Russia has a lot of potential now and I feel very positive about the future of Russia. China is moving on too; of course the pieces of shit who've been in power for years deserve punishment for the total lack of respect for human rights and genocide they've commited but it is a difficult one. I think the West are doing the best they can with China; they know its misdameaners but as I say its not quite as simple for instance as Iraq or Libya to deal with. |

Our Economy is being trashed by Bush and his pointless war. Seriously, there is no point to this. I'm not a religious person, but I beleive Bush and his party are evil. Is this petty fucking war really worth ruining our economy, spending millions on military and costing us the lives of our soldiers? Esepcially with greater dangers in the world like NORTH KOREA? Bush is up to something, something unwholesome and greedy and evil, and I think he is the worst president our country has ever known. My respect now grows even greater for Autechre, if that is possible ;p |

I'm delighted to hear that Ae and Missy have taken a political stand as individuals aside from their music. In response to Elusive and other war supporters: Saddam poses NO THREAT to the united states. He did not before 9/11, he does not after. He is the dictator of a small, impoverished and isolated country. He does not have weapons which can attack us, and if he did he is fully aware that doing so would be the end of him, and his regime. Saddam has NO DOCUMENTED HISTORY of engaging in terrorist violence outside of his borders. Even the Bush administration has stopped trying to assert this. The worst part of all this, for me, as an american is that we will be engaging in a war of AGGRESSION. NO COURT IN THE WORLD WOULD ACCEPT THIS AS SELF DEFENSE. I try very hard to avoid violence whether it be in a war or in a bar and my policies with regards to this are: 1. NEVER THROW THE FIRST PUNCH. 2. PICK ON SOMEONE YOUR OWN SIZE. 3. IF THEY DO NOT WANT TO FIGHT AFTER BEING INVITED TO, DO NOT PERSIST. To me these are very basic, obvious kindergarten type of things. The fact that our government willfully ignores them in the interest of STEALING a smaller, weaker countries oil makes me deeply deeply ASHAMED to be a US citizen. This is because I love my country and I know it's potential to do good, to PREVENT things like this from happening. peace, SOZE |
