it doesnt surprise me that people that didn't grow up w/ this music can appreciate it.. if they can like jazz or classical they can surely appreciate autechre or squarepusher etc.. one of my friend's dad had groove armada |

my step dad liked squarepusher-feed me wierd things, big loada, and some autechre (i think tri repetae+maybe chiastic slide) when i played them at his house... my parents seem pretty okay with it too |

Both of my parents hate this kind of music........they say it sounds like a 4 year old playing drums...I think to myself damn that 4 year old is drumming pretty damn fast! My Girlfriend likes some of AFX and BoC even if she won't say it upfront, but sometimes when I go over to her house she is playing MHTRTC all loud. |

My mom likes the more melodic stuff (On, flim, Heliospan, Alberto, Eggshell,...) She also likes some Dj shadow, Moby. It could be a lot worse. :) |

There's nothing wrong with Dj Shadow (Endtroducing is one of my all time favorites). And stigma or not, I quite like some Moby work to. I don't care what I'm 'supposed' to listen to. So my earlier post was just a little summing up of what songs my mom like from my collection. |
