i need a good tool for my laptop that allows me to change the temp of the song without harming the pitch! or a good temp changer... even if it does effect the pitch! help!

I think there's a function to do this in wavelab. And vice versa. I had a look at 17selves and all the bits are greyed out and nothing plays :S
Did you save it as a self contained zip? I'll give it another look this weekend.

You can kinda use Sonique to do that.

Look in the audio enhancement control, It's a bubble gum and string way to do it but it may get you going.

Ah, realtime... are you DJing?
Use Traktor to MP3 DJ it has tempo control (although the pitch does change- maybe in version2 there's a tempo independant of pitch setting?)

Sounds like you may need Ableton Live(I think half of the laptop DJ world is using it,but who cares?)
I haven't actually used it myself(it's on my ever growing 'to buy'list),but have read a lot of good things about it.
