You want emotion get Japanese Telecom. Some serious frikken' emotion on their CDs. They leave a very strong impression. Highly recommended.

Gridlock aren't bad. At least they are making some attempt at melody etc with their tracks. On first evaluation can't say I'm blown away but a few listens can change one's view.

yeah-'shocking hobby' took a while to grow on me-- it's not complex or beautiful. but it feels like a fucking army carefully ripping down the wall and marching through.

After you hear Trace a few times you'll realize its not a typical music album. Its a work of fucking art. Trace is just blace, white, and everything inbetween. The more beautiful the ambience - the harder the beats. I wasn't blown away until I realized that no matter how much new music I buy or listen to, I always come back to Trace when I least expect it. It never gets old for me. Easily right up there with drukqs.

Which album do you like most by Velvet Underground? I've got the 'Banana' album and it's one of my favorite's, especially when you think about when it's was made. My favorite song is 'Venus in Furs'.
If you like them, you could check out 'Paris 1919' by John Cale, great album too.
