Something in another thread just reminded me...

I completed this on the NES (real cartridge- not an
emulator) last week, for the first time (I've been playing
Marble Madness in its various guises for close to 15
years...) and even had 10 seconds left on the clock. Have
it!

nah it's ok - I'm pretty sure it was a bug in the actual
game I got. Big shame tho!

Good point actually- maybe I should look at the nes version-
the levels may be the same, but that one level could be
fixed...

Ever played the nes-game deja vu? Realy cool adventure
similar to the lucasarts games(monkey island etc). I think i
had a swedish version to. Realy cool but it was imposlible
to finish it!! At some point you just couldn't go any
further, just when the sectet was about to be revealed. And
heard other people say the same think, anyone else here that
where as pissed as i where?

Yeah! Marble Madness was one of the 1st games I ever
played... I would of been 4 or 5 years old at the time :)

I had it on my PC

I've never heard of that- there are quite a few games you
can't finish due to bugs. X-Com: TFTD on the PC is one of
them :)

He he, I completed this with 20 seconds to spare at the
weekend!

Nearly managed it with 24, but took a tumble :)

I bought it recently. I played it a long time ago and beat
it a few times, but now I havn't re-beaten it yet because of
that very last part where the floor shifts. A fun simple
little game is micromachines too. Actually a REALLY
challenging great game is street fighter 2010 (has nothing
to do with the popular street fighter series). I actually
beat the bastard too. And the music is awesome.

I don't know about the PSX version- there is an end
sequence, it's just due to a bug in the PC one you can't
finish the last level. I work with a guy who worked as a
playtester on it. He said they got so many complaints about
it...

*grovels at your feet

I think Marble Madness has the best 1st stage music ever.

The thing that really helps is finding out that whenever you
do a flip in the air you are invincible, even if you don't
have the flip shield (that sounded geeky). I wonder if
milton bradley made more videogames. I think they made toys
where you hook weird pathways together to build a fun route
for a marble to take going from the top to the bottom.
