Metallica.....fucking shit. Used to be poodle perm rock. Now.... bald old men rock. Have done nothing of any worth whatsoever. Only gained credibility due to Kurt Cobain dragging heavy rock out of it's spandexes and into the nineties.

wait a minute bill... So your saying Metallica never had a following or popularity until Kurt Cobain came along?...Thats complete shite.
Metallica had sold millions and millions of records before BLEACH from Nirvana ever even came out.
I think if anything, the entire reason everyone is sick of metallica now, may be the Kurt Cobain reason you said in the firstplace.
When Nirvana broke, "heavy grunge rock" was the thing to do...countless numbers of bands came and went...BUt did Metallica go "grunge"...no they released the Black album...and sounded nothing like Nirvana...
I think to say that "Only gained credibility due to Kurt Cobain
dragging heavy rock out of it's spandexes and into the nineties. " is just ignorant.
MIllions knew Metallica before millions were introduced to Nirvana

I thought they'd go with him... it would have been far better for the band if they'd chosen Scott Reeder, but I'm glad they didn't cause they don't deserve him. Fact is Metallica haven't done anything truly brilliant for 14 years.
bill, your rant is either yet more baiting nonsense or ill informed crap.

Who gives a fuck what they look like? That hardly comes into play with "IDM" does it? And poodle perm rock is Poison, Extreme, Motley Crue etc, not fucking 'Master Of Puppets' era Metallica. You'll be telling me next that Carcass wrote songs for Michael Bolton
