Creepy stuff!!

Organ Grinder from from my own little phuqed up world on 2001-09-26 21:12 [#00036870]

I just got Silent Hill 2 and i must say that it is the
creepiest game i have ever fucking played!

The creepiest movie i ever saw was Event Horizon -- though
In the Mouth of Madness was quite fucked also!

Creepy songs..... anyone ever heard of Throbbing Gristle?
They're a UK industrial band from the late 70's. They have
some creppy music -- most of it quite minimalistic -- but
Genesis P. Orridge isn't that great of a singer.... but
they're creepy.

What about you people? What's your opinion on creepiness?

umami on 2001-09-26 21:16 [#00036871]

ever seen eraserhead? david lynch is fucking creepy. and
cronenberg (urg?) too.

Chilled on 2001-09-26 21:29 [#00036876]

hehe,i agree with organ grinder, the silent hill soundtracks
are electrifyingly scary...just industrial noisyness..

i find coil to be very disturbing...and beautifully
ugly...if that makes sense...
listen to "the pope hung upside down",and youll see their
madness..

Netlon Sentinel from yurp on 2001-09-26 22:56 [#00036906]

the only game that ever scared me was doom. made me look
round virtual corners for enemies.

good times. good times...

Fresch from Trondheim, Norway on 2001-09-26 23:00 [#00036908]

I have to agree with Umami; Eraserhead is definately the
most fucked up piece of footage i've ever seen....

Netlon Sentinel from yurp on 2001-09-26 23:04 [#00036911]

i bet you didn't see the wedding planner!

Fresch from Trondheim, Norway on 2001-09-26 23:10 [#00036914]

the wedding planner; no, i stay the fuck away from that
one...urk.

kr8s from all too far away on 2001-09-26 23:46 [#00036948]

\"naked lunch\" by cronenberg is fuxor\'d up and creepy.
another creepy movie is \"gummo\", which is just sick in a
way.

test?

Organ Grinder from from my own little phuqed up world on 2001-09-27 00:19 [#00036993]

How'd you get the Silent Hill soundtrack, REFLEX? The
soundtrack is fucking superb!!

I saw Lost Highway by Lynch -- and it was quite creepy too
-- i guess i'll go see eraserhead -- and yes, REFLEX, Silent
Hill 2 is quite frightening although i've only been playing
it for a short time -- it JUST came out today.

Anyone here ever played the game "Clock Tower" for
Playstation? Quite a creepy game, but hard to find. It's a
point-and-click survival horror game where this guy named
Scissorman chases you around, and you can find several ways
to evade him -- two characters, 5 endings each. Clock Tower
2 sorta sucked though.

Anyone want to hear some creepy music? -- Buy Throbbing
Gristle's "20 Jazz Funk Greats."

[REFLEX] from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on 2001-09-27 00:24 [#00036997]

20 jazz funk greats is cool, but check out "second annual
report." it's their 1st album, and much creepier.

Organ Grinder from from my own little phuqed up world on 2001-09-27 00:28 [#00037004]

okay cool.

By the way, TG has a "First Annual Report" as well now that
was recently released....... one of their lost albums.... to
whomever the other REFLEX is.

Super Magnetic Neo from Australia on 2001-09-27 04:01 [#00037058]

I love the Silent Hill soundtrack, I have to get it on CD!!
(Great game too). I thought the Church music was a standout,
also the creepy music in the "darkside" school.

Silent Hill 2 is out in America... great! That means I only
have to wait about 4 or 5 years :-p

Yahoo Serious on 2001-09-27 04:13 [#00037062]

Yes, Gummo, come to my Harmony Korine site when it's back
up....

Ghoulies was good. Ghoulies Go To College was better.

umami on 2001-09-27 05:41 [#00037076]

also the newer version of "the blob" really freaked me out
when i was a kid
